Bruce D. Flora, 71, of Lafayette, died at the Illiana VA Medical Center in Danville, IL. Thursday July 11, 2013 at 2:45 PM. Bruce was born in Hillsdale, MI., July 28, 1941, the son of the late Charles Leonard and Helen Mildred Mote Flora. He was a graduate of Manchester, IN. High School in 1959, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Viet Nam Conflict. Bruce was a self-employed auto body repairman.
Surviving is a sister, Marilyn (Marvin) Robbins of Lafayette, as well as 6 nephews and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Frye.
Graveside services will be held Monday July 15, 2013 at Rest Haven Memorial Park, with Pastor David Doane officiting. American Legion Post 11 will conduct military rites.
