Anna Larson

Anna Louise Larson died at Creasy Springs Health Campus Sunday Nov. 11, 2012. She was born May 28, 1923 in Lafayette. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Kerkhoff. She graduated from Montmorenci High School and St. Elizabeth School of Nursing. She married Ervin R. Larson on August 2, 1944. He poreceded her in death on August 28, 2003. Three brothers and a granddaughter also preceded her in death: John, Gordon,and Paul Kerkhoff and Tina Larson.
Anna worked as a nurse for several years prior to raising a family, was a lifelong member of St. Boniface Church, was a 60 year member of a local ladies' bridge club, long-standing member St. Elizabeth Regional Helath Auxiliary as well as Sheffield Home Extension Club.
Surviving are two sons, Richard (Kathlene) of Fuqua-Varina, NC., and Kenneth ( Dottie) of Lafayette. Also surviving are grandchildren Amanda (Mike) Paligraf of Monticello, Priscilla (Jon) Burlison of Terre Haute, Elise (Kyle) Gilliatt of Plainfield, Chad (Megan) Ray of Kansas, Dan (Marcy) Ray of NC., and Chris Stevens of Michigan, Troy (Gail) Larson of MO., Tricia (Dan) Harlow) of Lafayette, Lisa (Sean) Barnes of Lafayette, Andy F. McCormick of Lafayette, Jessica (Jeff) Bush. Surviving also are many great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from the Rosary at 4:45 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM Wednesday, St. Boniface Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Alkire officiating, with interment following in St. Boniface Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
