Angeline Collins

Angeline Pauline Collins, 84, of Lafayette, and formerly of Linden, IN. died at her residence 2:15 PM Monday August 22, 2011. She had been in failing health the past year. Mrs. Collins was born in Linden, IN. February 14, 1927, the daughter of the late John Paul and Pauline Marie Coyner Jones, and was a 1946 graduate of Linden High School. She married Leonard E. Collins in Lafayette, IN. March 22, 1957, and he survives. Mrs. Collins had worked for Brown Rubber, and later General Foods in Lafayette, and was a member of the former Linden Christian Church. Surviving with her husband is a daughter, Linda Elaine Haynes (partner Jim) of Lafayette, IN.; 2 sons, Jack Wayne Todd (wife Cathy) of Mulberry, IN., and Larry Lee Todd of Lafayette, IN. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Friends may call at the HAHN-GROEBER FUNERAL HOME, Linden from 6 until 8 PM Thursday. Funeral services at the funeral home 10:30 AM Friday, Rev. Dr. R. Clayton Kendall officiating, with interment in Linden Cemetery.
