Thomas W. Halsmer, 32, of Lafayette, died at his residence in Lafayette at 5:01 AM Thursday February 28, 2013 of several health complications. Thomas wa born in Plymouth, IN. June 11, 1980, the son of Thomas E. Halsmer and Nioma VanGilder King and attended Ivy Tech. He most recently was working at Wabash National. He married Ashley Omullane at Colfax, IN. October 5, 2001, and they later divorced. Thomas is survived by a daughter, Ashlynn Halsmer; two sons, Austin and Cameron Halsmer, all of Lafayette; his father, Thomas E. Halsmer of Lafayette; his mother, Nioma King of Tampa, FL.; and a sister, Yvonne McCalment of Tampa, FL. He was preceded in death by a niece, Rachel McClament. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 5 until 7 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, Rev.
