Joshua David Craig

Joshua D. Craig, 22, of Greenfield, IN. died as a result of injuries sustained in a single vehicle automobile accident near West Point, IN. on Thursday January 24, 2013. Joshua was born in Bicester RAS, Upper Harford, England September 5, 1990, the son of David Craig and Martina (Preston) Sternberg. He was a graduate of the American Schools in England, and was currently a student at IVY Tech in Lafayette in the HVAC Program. Joshua married Jamey N. Sanchez at Plainfield, IN. February 5, 2011 and she survives. He attended St. Mary's Cathedral; loved the outdoors, martial arts, bow hunting and hanging out with his children. Joshua was a very loving and caring person. Surviving with his wife is his mother and step-father, Martina and Scott Sternberg of West Point, IN.; his father, David Craig of Korea; four sons, Gabriel Craig, Nathan, Noah and Seth Stepler all at home; his sister, Jessica Craig, stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC.; maternal grandmother, Delores Henry of Indianapolis, IN.; paternal grandparents, Ted and Emma Jane Craig of Columbia, MO.; and a step-grandmother, Nancy Oakland of Destin, FL. Friends may call at the Hahn-Groeber Funeral Home, 1104 Columbia St., Lafayette from 5 until 7 PM Monday, with the Rosary service at 4:45 PM and a Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral at 10:30 AM Tuesday, Fr. Jeff Martin officiating, with interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
